Installing the ceiling fan

A ceiling fan has been hanging above and cooling you off. Now there is another room where the ceiling fan needs to be installed. Just fixing the bolt in the hook and the installation is complete. This is what majority of individuals think about the fan installation. And if you are one among them, certainly you are making a mistake. Installing a fan from the room is a daunting task and this requires much care and concentration to be taken on your part to assure that the fan has been installed perfectly. If not installed properly your fan will not operate or even worse it can fall down and can be much more hazardous if some is sitting underneath. And certainly you don’t want such thing to happen to you or your family. Do you? So here are a few tips that will help you with good installation.
The first thing that a person has to consider is the style and size of ceiling fan. Ceiling fans come in a wide variety of sizes and styles depending on the individual preferences and need of a place. And for that you need to evaluate your needs and size of your room as well. And also the ceiling type can again be a major difficulty in installing the ceiling fan. Some homes have vaulted ceilings that make it even more difficult to position the fan and install it. These were the basics with the fan installation and once you have bought it you will see an instruction manual along with that and a set of accessories including nuts and bolts and clump.
You first attach the clump the fan and tighten the bolts. Then switch off the main power lines. Disconnect the wires if there has been some old fan installed over there and bring it down. Now hold the fan right above your head. You can take assistance from some family member. Makes sure the base that is supporting you is stable or else there are chances of fall. Hold the fan in the mounting bracket and put in the mounting bolts, tighten them up. And now its time to fix the wiring. Be careful with the color codes of the wire. Once the wires are installed you are to put on the fan blades. A fan may have a configuration for three to four blades depending on the type of fan that you have bought. Put the blades in the place and then tighten the screws.
Once the blades have been fixed its time to check if your hunter fan is doing well. Switch on the mains and then check if the fan is moving well. If there is some sound or noise of the fan is shaking immediately turn off the power and tighten the screws again and check the wiring. Once this is done, you can enjoy the cool air under it and relax.
Installing fan isn’t a difficult task actually. But the only care you need to take is with the electrical works and its installation.
